If you type the domain name in the search engine, you may retrieve a full report about it, including the details about its owner and his contact details. In the previous section, I briefly mentioned about the eInflikter tool and how it can be used to investigate the domain name. The eInflikter tool has a feature called eInflikter Resolver Tool which is used to generate an IP-range lookup. An IP-range is a part of the standard Internet domain name system. So if you type in any domain name into the text box, you may get some information about it and its owner. However, you need to be careful while using the tool because an IP-range lookup can be quite false in some situations. So I suggest that you use the "eInflikter" tool in conjunction with another DNS server like DNS-over-peer. You can get information about domain name or IP address using the eInflikter tool and then pass it over to the DNS-over-peer. But the main problem with this is that the DNS server won't know that you've already used the eInflikter tool and so it might assign the domain name or IP to some other data source. This happens when your ISP does not support IP-domain lookups. So my suggestion is to use the DNS servers along with the eInflikter tool. If you're going to use the eInflikter tool, make sure that you've specified the correct IP addresses for the domain names which you're investigating. It might work in some cases like when you're using the free lookups. The only thing that you have to remember is that there might be some static IP addresses everywhere on the internet. So I would recommend that you use the paid dnservers for domain name research. The price difference will be minimal. So what do you need to do to check which ones are the good ones? One of the easiest ways to do it is to check the forums. People who use these tools are more than willing to share their experiences. You can find the answers to your domain name questions there and you can also learn a lot of good tips which you can use to set up your own research tool for domain name research. It's important that you've got a list. That way, you will be able to check all of them against each other. If you don't, there will be a chance that you may miss one of the domain names which you're meant to register. Finding the right one for you takes time. So get ready for a bit of work! |
